VirtualRPC In Use

The following are excerpts from the Introduction to the booklet
"Back in 2003, Virtual Acorn released VirtualRPC which was a huge step-up from its predecessor,VirtualA5000. Based on an emulation of the RISC OS v4.02 core, it allowed almost all versions of application software, from pre-StrongARM to the very latest releases, to be used under RISC OS emulation on Windows-based PCs." "The product has since been enhanced considerably through successive upgrades and, today, we can run all versions of RISC OS from 4.02 through 4.39 (Adjust) to the latest iteration of R06/Select, and on high-resolution displays matching the standards achieved by the Iyonix.
"In parallel, the capabilities of host PCs have also improved immensely and, in general, RISC OS software can now be run at speeds far beyond that whch any ARM-powered machine can hope to match. The latest versions of Windows are supported and the ability to run VirtualRPC on a Mac is an exciting development."
